Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President, Dr G Parameshwar said that though the fact finding committee has failed to identify the MLAs who voted against the party diktat, the party will take action based on circumstantial evidence.Parameshwar said the report of the committee headed by former Council Chairman V R Sudarshan on party supremo Sonia Gandhi’s directions, is before the party high command.The report, which was leaked to the media even before it was submitted to the high command, has blamed the lack of co-ordination between the KPCC president, CLP president Sidharamaiah and the AICC General Secretary and party in-charge of Karnataka Madhusudan Mistry.The Congress in Karnataka had received a severe jolt when its official minority candidate was defeated in the Council elections when five of the 19 allotted party MLAs did not cast their votes. In protest against the defeat, Muslim leaders in the Congress had threatened to quit.
