Nobel laureate to attend international meet

KOCHI:  Nobel laureate and Magsaysay Award winner Muhamad Yunus will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the International Conference on Technology Enhanced Education, (ICTEE 2012), organised by Amrita University from January 3 to 5. The conference on the theme ‘Educational technology for social benefit,’ will deal with ways and means to raise the level of education in India with the help of emerging technologies. Eminent technologists and educational experts from over 18 countries and 100 universities, including Dilip Chenoy, CEO, National Skill Development Corporation, Vineet Joshi, chairman, CBSE, Directors of IIT Delhi and Hyderabad and scientists from MIT and Carnegie Mellon, will participate in the three-day international conference.
