Now, TN Forest Officials encroach on Kerala land

PALAKKAD: The Tamil Nadu Forest authorities had encroached on the Kerala region and put up two camp sheds at Varadimala in Sholayur village, Attappadi, under the Mannarkad division.Mannarkad Divisional Forest Officer James Mathew who visited the Varadimala area found that the forest personnel of Tamil Nadu had put up two sheds on the Kerala side.James Mathew said that the Tamil Nadu forest authorities have been informed and he did not know if it was deliberate. However, the Tamil Nadu Forest authorities have stated that they would have inadvertently strayed on to the Kerala side and they would look into it.
