Nursing students stage demo

BHUBANESWAR: The nursing students, who have undergone training to become Auxiliary Nurse and Midwives (ANMs), of 50 private nursing colleges on Thursday staged a demonstration in front of the official residence of Health Minister Prasanna Acharya seeking his intervention into the matters of education.   They alleged that final examination for the students of 2007-08 and 2008-09 batches in private nursing colleges are yet to be held even as the DMET authorities have decided to hold examination for the 2009-10 batch on January 30.
