Painting contest on October 26

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Sree Chithira Thirunal Jayanthi painting competition, to commemorate the 99th birth anniversary of Sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma will be held at the Kowdiar Palace at 9 am on October 26.   The state-level painting competition will be jointly organised by the Chitrakalamandalam and the Sree Chitra Tirunal Smaraka Samithi. Students studying in various classes from LKG up to college can take part in the competition.   The subject and the medium of paint is left to the choice of the candidate. Except for paper, all materials for painting should be brought by those who take part in the competition.
