Islamabad: A university in Pakistan's Peshawar city will set up a quick response team to monitor the movement of "suspected elements" on the campus following two blasts that recently rocked the institute, a media report said. Due to the prevailing security situation in Northwest Pakistan, the management of the University of Peshawar and students decided at a meeting to install close circuit cameras at designated places within the university, the Dawn reported.

The university has also set up a central control room, and asked students to report to it any suspicious movement on the campus. The daily said that recently, two terrorism incidents - a blast in the geology department and another in the administrative block - had exposed the lack of security at the university.

What's your reaction?
