Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch again, India retaliates
Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing since 9.15 am as the troops fired intermittently using small arms and automatic weapons.

Amid the war of words between India and Pakistan over Army's recent operation in Myanmar, the neighbouring country continued to violate ceasefire on Thursday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan resorted to unprovoked firing since 9.15 am as the troops fired intermittently using small arms and automatic weapons.

India responded to the unprovoked firing by the Pakistani side with equal calibre weapons. However, there were no reports of any casualties till last reports came in.

This comes just three days after the Pakistan army violated ceasefire along LoC in the frontier district Poonch on Sunday evening. The Pakistani troops fired several rounds towards the India Army position in Balakote sector.
