The passenger reportedly slit his throat using a blade in the washroom of the flight which arrived from Dubai at the airport in Hyderabad.
A passenger allegedly attempted suicide inside a plane at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad area in Hyderabad, police said on Saturday.
The passenger identified as Mohd Imtiyaz slit his throat using a blade in the washroom of the flight which arrived from Dubai at the airport in Hyderabad, they said adding it is not yet clear as to why he resorted to the act.
"He (passenger) has been admitted to a hospital and is still unconscious," RGIA Police Inspector A Krishnaiah said
