PM Modi In Telangana: The prime minister will also inaugurate and lay the foundation for three National Highway projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated and laid the foundation of several development projects worth more than Rs 6,800 crore. He also dedicated the Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) centre to the nation.

Later in the day, he will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation of stones of multiple development projects worth over Rs 19,600 in Odisha.

An official release earlier said that the projects are related to several key sectors such as road, rail, petroleum and natural gas.

CONGRESS & BRS SHARE ‘GHOTALA BANDHAN’

The prime minister said that be it BRS or Congress, both are the same. “The people of Telangana will tell whether there is an alliance between BRS and Congress or not,” he said.

“But the world knows that the scam bond between BRS and Congress is very strong. Both of them provide cover fire to each other in scam bandhan i.e. loot of Telangana,” he added.

140 CRORE INDIANS ARE MODI’S FAMILY, ‘MODI KA PARIVAAR’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the opposition consistently forgets that the 140 crore Indians are “Modi’s family”.

“Every mother and sister is Modi’s family. Every son, every youth is Modi’s family,” he said. Reinforcing the intent, he chanted ‘Modi Ka Parivaar’ with the people of Telangana.

THEY BELIEVE ‘FAMILY FIRST’, I BELIEVE ‘NATION FIRST’

PM Modi said that him and the opposition share ideological differences. “They believe in ‘Family First’, and I believe in ‘Nation First’.”

“For them, their family is everything; for me, my country is everything. They sacrifice the Nation for the welfare of their family; I have sacrificed myself for the welfare of the Nation,” he added.

PARIVARVAD THREAT TO DEMOCRACY

The prime minister said that the opposition Congress and its alliance partners make personal comments on him, saying that “The reason why the mere sight of him makes them restless is because I am unveiling their secrets and scams.”

He said that he has never made personal comments, he just says “Parivarvadi”. He justified his stance saying, “I condemn Parivarvad because it’s a threat to democracy, it does not let talent grow and hinders the growth of the country as well as the individuals.”

BJP FULFILLS ITS PROMISES

BJP has talked about the end of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and we “fulfilled this promise”.

“We had said that together we will welcome Lord Ram in the grand temple of Ayodhya. This promise was fulfilled,” he said, adding that “Modi’s guarantee fulfilled”.

The PM said that now that the guarantees given by him and his party are being fulfilled, “Congress and its allies have come out to abuse Modi and his family.”

“The reason for this is – because I am exposing their scams worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. I am raising my voice against the nepotism of these people,” he said.

‘WON’T LET YOUR CONFIDENCE IN ME GO TO WASTE’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his confidence gets a boost seeing people’s enthusiasm for the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana.

“I will not let your confidence in me go to waste,” the PM said, adding that, “You also know that whatever Modi says, he does it.”

“I told you that together we will take India to new heights in the entire world. Today you are seeing how India is reaching new heights by becoming a ray of hope in the entire world,” the prime minister added.

TELANGANA CAN BE CALLED ‘GATEWAY FOR SOUTH INDIA’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the public in Sangareddy and said that Telangana can be called the ‘Gateway for South India’. “Work is being done on the electrification of railways. 6 news stations have also been made,” he said.

“These developments will have a spillover effect on the economy of Telangana and the surrounding regions,” he added.

PM INAUGURATES PROJECTS, FLAGS OFF MMTS IN TELANGANA

The prime minister also flagged off MMTS facility between Ghatkesar and Lingampalli.

PM VISITS UJJAINI MAHAKALI TEMPLE

PM Modi visited Shri Ujjaini Mahakali temple on Tuesday morning. He offered his prayers and performed puja at the temple.

SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS IN ODISHA

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ashish Kumar Singh told news agency ANI that security forces have been deployed ahead of the PM’s visit.

“An adequate arrangement has been made in view of PM Modi’s visit. Over 3,000 police forces under the command of senior officers have been deployed. On the basis of programmes, the teams have been divided,” Singh said.

PROJECTS TO BE INAUGURATED

TELANGANA:

  • The Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) centre in Hyderabad, set up at Begumpet Airport, will be inaugurated by the prime minister today. The centre was set up by the Airports Authority of India to upgrade and enhance research and development (R&D) activities in the civil aviation sector.
  • The state-of-the-art CARO facility, built at a cost of over Rs 350 crore, is compliant with 5-STAR-GRIHA Rating and Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) norms.
  • PM Modi will also inaugurate and lay the foundation for three National Highway projects. The foundation stone for the six-laning of the 29 km long Pune-Hyderabad Section of NH-65 will also be laid. The NH-65 project will provide better connectivity to significant industrial centres in Telangana like Pashamylaram industrial area near Patancheru.
  • The Multi-Modal Transport Service (MMTS) Train Service from Ghatkesar-Lingampalli via Moula Ali-Sanathanagar will be flagged off by the prime minister. The train service extends the suburban train service in the Hyderabad-Secunderabad twin city regions to new areas for the first time.
  • PM Modi will also inaugurate the 1,212-km Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline, which has a capacity of 4.5 MMTPA. The product pipeline traverses through the states of Odisha (329 km), Andhra Pradesh (723 km) and Telangana (160 km).
  • The pipeline will ensure safe and economical transportation of petroleum products from Paradip Refinery to delivery stations at Visakhapatnam, Atchutapuram, and Vijayawada (in Andhra Pradesh), and Malkapur near Hyderabad (in Telangana).

ODISHA:

  • PM Modi will inaugurate the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd’s mono ethylene glycol project in Paradip refinery, which will contribute towards reducing the nation’s dependency on imports. The 344-km-long product pipeline from Odisha’s Paradip to West Bengal’s Haldia will be dedicated to the nation.
  • A 0.7 MMTPA LPG import facility at Paradip will also be inaugurated by the PM to augment the import infrastructure on the eastern coast.
  • He will also unveil a four-laning of Singhara to Binjabahal section of NH-49, Binjabahar to Tileibani section of NH-49, Balasore-Jharpokharia section of NH-18 and Tangi-Bhubaneswar section of NH-16. The prime minister will also lay the foundation stone for the eight-laning of Chandikhole-Paradip road.
  • He will also dedicate to the nation the 162-km-long Bansapani-Daitari-Tomka-Jakhapura rail line. Other than enhancing the current capacity, it wil also enable efficient transportation of iron and manganese ore from Keonjhar to the ports and steel plants.
  • A 5-mld seawater desalination plant at Odisha Sands Complex of Indian Rare Earths Ltd will also be inaugurated by the prime minister.
