Refuting Subramanian Swamy's charges, Gopal Subramanyam said every communication was dealt with highest propriety.

New Delhi: Solicitor General Gopal Subramanyam today said the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will come clean on the 2G spectrum scam that has rocked the ruling UPA and stalled Parliament proceedings for eight days now.

Refuting Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy's charges, Gopal Subramanyam today said that every communication from the PMO on 2G spectrum allocation was dealt with highest propriety.

Subramanyam told CNN IBN that the PM is not embarrassed with the scam. He said the due process of law will be followed and the government will reply to the apex court.

Supreme Court today asked the government to file an affidavit in the 2G case by Saturday. The hearing is on Tuesday.

The Supreme Court has asked for the details of correspondence between Swamy and the PMO on spectrum allocation.

Subramanian Swamy on his part alleged that the government is lying on the 2G scam.

“The PMO never replied to my letters,” Swamy said.
