Police seize actor Balakrishna's son's vehicle
Police seized Balakrishna's son's car, while Mokshagan and his friends were travelling in an inebriated condition.

Police seems to have scared Tollywood actor, Nandamuri Balakrishna's 18 years old son, Tarakarama Mokshagna. He had to run in the middle of the road, after jumping out of the car, when the Banjara Hills traffic police intercepted his vehicle in which he and his friends were travelling in an inebriated condition. The incident took place on August 19, in Banjara Hills. Traffic police caught Mokshagna's friend Venkat who was driving the car in a drunken state and seized the car.

According to the traffic police, as part of their regular crackdown on drunken driving, they detained a Tata Safari vehicle (AP 16 BK 1), in which the six youngsters were travelling in an inebriated condition.

Mokshagna was at a weekend party with his friends on Saturday night and was returning home via Jubilee Hills Check post and Cancer Hospital, when the police intercepted the vehicle. "Around 12.20 am traffic police intercepted the speeding vehicle in which Mokshagna and his friends were travelling in a drunken condition," said K Balakrishna Reddy, traffic inspector, Banjara Hills.

"We tested Venkat who was driving the car and the breath analyser displayed 77 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood as against the permitted level of 30 mg. Based on the report, we registered a case under section 185 (A) of the Motor Vehicle Act and seized the vehicle," the inspector said.

While they were testing Venkat, Mokshagna, who sat beside him got down from the vehicle and ran away from the place. "We don't know why he ran away as there is no case against him. Venkat will be asked to appear before the Nampally court on Tuesday and will made to attend a traffic counselling session", he added.
