Policy to allot advertisements to media will be introduced soon: Hemant Soren

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday said a policy to allocate advertisements to all media houses will be introduced within a few days.

"A policy for (allotting) advertisements to media houses will be implemented soon," Soren said adding, a draft policy in this connection has already been prepared. Presently, advertisements are being selectively allotted by the state government.

Interacting with reporters here, he said there was no such policy existing in the state ever since it was carved out of Bihar on November 15, 2000.
