HYDERABAD: Allegedly depressed over her poor financial conditions, an MBA student ended her life at Sanathnagar late Sunday  night. The girl, K Sharada Rani (22), was pursuing her MBA second year from a private college at Isnapur on the outskirts of the city. According to police, Sharada’s father, Sambasiva Rao, expired one-and-half year’s ago after which the family’s financial position worsened.Sharada’s mother, Lakshmi Devi, works as a domestic help. Fearing that she may not be able to continue her studies because of financial constraints, Sharada took the extreme step.Sharada slit her hand and later hanged herself from the ceiling of the house while her mother was away on Sunday. Sanathnagar police registered a case and are investigating.Auto Driver Held for Stealing BagAn auto driver, who stole a passenger’s bag containing gold and other valuables was arrested on Monday by Madannapet police.According to police, V Pushpa Kumar hired the auto on May 28 and got down at her house at Madannapet. She reportedly forgot to take her bag had gold ornaments, a mobile phone and some clothes. She realised her bag was missing as soon as she entered her house and alerted her husband who quickly noted the auto’s registration number and informed the police. Police arrested G Prabhu Kumar on July 11 from his house at Nandanavanam and recovered gold ornaments worth `90,000.
