KOCHI: RYS International, a youth forum for service to humanity began a week-long ‘Project South India 2011’ at the Renewal Centre here. The project was to build a terrace garden to grow vegetables for students with the help of Rotary International at the ACS High School in Kaloor. Members from Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Malaysia, South Korea and Kerala were present. The team will also visit places of worship of different faiths in and around Kochi and will conduct a friendly soccer match in association with the Cochin Football Academy at Nehru Stadium. A ‘Meeting of Minds’ was also organised with the assistance of Sai Samanvaya. P C Joseph, N R  Menon, Dr Vinay Sagar, P I Thampy and S Ramesh coordinated the activities.
