Public grievances meeting

CHENNAI: A public grievance meeting was held at Ullagaram Puzhuthivakkam Municipality on Sunday.Environment Minister T K M Chinnayya,south Chennai MP Chitlapakkam S Rajendran and Sholinganallur MLA K P Kandan lent their ears to the woes of the people at the meeting.The major concern of the people was power shortage.Apart from the daily one hour power cut, they also allegedly suffer voltage fluctuations due to load shedding and damaged and exposed power cables. The long standing proposal to bring a cable from Pallavaram to Nanganallur should be implemented to mitigate power problems, they said.
