Railway Recruitment 2018 online application process has been initiated by the Indian Railways for centralized recruitment of 26502 candidates for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician. As per the official notification, there are a total of 17,673 vacancies for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and 8,829 vacancies of Technician across various regional Railway Recruitment Boards of the Indian Railways. Eligible candidates interested in pursuing their career with the Indian Railways must apply on the regional RRBs website on or before 5th March 2018 by following the instructions below:
How to apply for Railway Recruitment 2018 Online?
Step 1 – Visit the official website of Indian Railways - indianrailways.gov.in
Step 2 – Click on the Recruitment tab in the top navigation bar
Step 3 – Click on the RRBs that you are eligible to apply for
Step 4 – Click on Apply for CEN 01/2018’
Step 5 – Fill the application form, pay the application fee and complete the application process
Step 6 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:
The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 28 years as on 1st July 2018, age relaxation rules apply as per Indian Railways norms.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected via two stages of examination viz First Stage CBT and Second Stage CBT for both the posts. However, for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), candidates who will clear Second Stage CBT will undergo Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT).
