Railway Stations In Rajasthan Receive Bomb Threat, Authorities On High Alert

Several railway stations in Rajasthan, including the railway station in Jaipur, received bomb threats on Wednesday. Authorities were put on high alert in view of the threat.

According to sources, the station superintendent at Hanumangarh Junction received a letter from an unidentified person, containing threats in the name of the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The letter warned of bombings at multiple stations, including Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Kota, Bundi, Udaipur, and Jaipur.

Following the threat, a massive security operation was launched, with BSF personnel, along with GRP and RPF forces, conducting thorough searches of Hanumangarh Junction.

However, no suspicious items were found. Additional Superintendent of Police, Pyarelal Meena, arrived at the station to oversee the security arrangements, with additional police personnel deployed to secure the area.

A case has been registered against the unknown person at the GRP police station, and investigations are underway to trace the origin of the threatening letter.
