The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched three new housing schemes on Rakshabandhan day, providing a total of 40,000 flats for sale. These schemes, with prices starting as low as Rs 11.50 lakh, offer an opportunity for prospective homebuyers in the capital.
The DDA has made detailed brochures available on its official website, where interested buyers can find comprehensive information about the schemes, including flat locations, pricing, and possession dates. The authority has also established a help desk to assist with queries related to the e-auction process.
The majority of the 40,000 flats included in these schemes are from previous offerings that remained unsold in earlier auctions. DDA said that all the flats have been categorized as freehold, ensuring full ownership rights for buyers.
Applications for the e-auction flats will begin on August 21, while the first-come, first-served schemes will open for applications on August 22. The booking period for these flats will start on September 10, 2024, and will continue until March 31, 2025.
The DDA has announced that 34,000 flats under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and High-Income Group (HIG) categories will be available at discounted prices, starting from Rs 11.50 lakh.
The second scheme under the DDA General Housing Scheme includes 5,400 flats with prices beginning at Rs 29 lakh. The third scheme, known as the Dwarka Housing Scheme, offers 173 premium flats with starting prices set at Rs 1.2 crore.
The flats under the first scheme are located in Ramgarh Colony, Sirsapur, Loknayakpuram, Rohini, and Narela. The second scheme’s flats are situated in Jasola, Loknayakpuram, and Narela. The premium flats in the Dwarka Housing Scheme are located in Dwarka’s Sector 14, Sector 16B, and Sector 19B.
