London: Sanjeev Bhaskar, best known for starring "The Kumars at No. 42", is set to appear in an upcoming episode of "Doctor Who".
The comedian will play an "important" role in the final episode of the new series, reports dailystar.co.uk. Sanjeev had previously lent his voice to "Doctor Who" audio stories, but this marks his first appearance on the show.
"I'm thrilled to have made a small contribution to - and now be part of - the 'Doctor Who' universe. Another dream box ticked!" he said.
The new series of "Doctor Who" will see Peter Capaldi take over the title role and he'll be joined by a host of famous guest stars including Frank Skinner, "Line of Duty" actress Keeley Hawes and singer Foxes.
