SC: 'Mannat' does not violate archaeological laws
The Supreme Court dismissed a petition which alleged that Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat violates the archaeological laws.

New Delhi: The Supreme Court dismissed a petition which alleged that Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow Mannat in Mumbai, was violative of archaeological laws and coastal regulation zone.

The petition was filed by Amit Maruand and Simpreet Singh of Mumbai who approached the apex court after their petition was rejected by the Bombay High Court.

The PIL was Maruand and Singh received a jolt from the high court when the court imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on the two men for misleading the court.
