The court hit out at the government saying, "The situation is very pathetic. Why there is laxity on the part of the government?"
New Delhi: The Supreme Court has expressed concern over rising incidents of acid attacks in the country. It has issued a notice to the Central government and states on what steps it is taking to rehabilitate the acid attack victims.
The court has also hit out at the government saying, "The situation is very pathetic. Why there is laxity on the part of the government?"
The apex court has given the government six weeks time to respond.
