Hilversum, Netherlands: India's Shiv Kapur is placed tied third after he shot 67 to move to seven-under 133 at the end of the delayed second round of the KLM Open.
However, three others Indians - Jeev Milkha Singh (71-70), SSP Chowrasia (71-72) and Gaganjeet Bhullar (71-76) - missed the halfway cut.
Meanwhile, two closing birdies gave twice winner Simon Dyson the lead again.
Among the players unable to complete the second round on Friday following earlier delays, Irish Open champion Dyson added a 66 to his opening 65 to reach halfway on the nine under par mark of 131 and took sole lead.
Kapur, who desperately needs a good finish to make his progress towards retaining his card for 2012 easier, hit four birdies against one bogey.
Currently 113th on the Money List, he played 32 holes on Friday and completed his best start of the season with a 66 and then added a 67. He had played only four holes on Thursday and was third after the first round.
Among others to finish was James Kingston (68) and Gary Orr (66).
Joint first-round leader Marcel Siem was one behind after a 67, while tied for third on seven under along with Kapur is Dyson's fellow Englishman David Lynn.
Rory McIlroy shot 65 on Friday to be five under with World Number 2 Lee Westwood only one further back, but defending champion Martin Kaymer surprisingly missed the cut.
Runner-up to Thomas Bjorn in Switzerland last weekend, Kaymer could only manage rounds of 74 and 69 for a three over total - three too many.
In the second round, McIlroy, 73rd after the first round, made a big jump with 65 that took him to five-under, while Westwood, who had a 70 in first round, also moved up with a 66. He was four-under.
