Slovak Skrtel suffers injury in Costa Rica friendly

BRATISLAVA (Reuters) - Slovakia's World Cup defender Martin Skrtel suffered a serious-looking ankle injury on Saturday in a friendly against Costa Rica. The World Cup debutant of Liverpool went off in the 13th minute and was taken to hospital for an immediate scan. No further information was immediately available.
