A unique way of protest is being witnessed in Uttar Pradesh, as a guru has become engrossed in meditation to get his demands accepted. This guru is protesting against the lack of development in a village.

The guru, popularly known as Bachcha Baba, is a resident of village Gwarai, situated on the banks of Yamuna, about 20 km from Tundla in Firozabad. Speaking to News 18, he said that his village and temple are very far from the city. The public representatives will come to ask for votes but no public representative or officer of the district comes to see the bad condition here.

“There is no development in the village, there are no proper road within the village no street light and restoration of the temple and the ashram. That is why I have been engaged in Hatha Yoga for the last three years,” he added.

There is no proper pucca road within the village and the condition of the road to reach his temple is also bad\. The rural people also face a lot of other problems, but no public representative take notice of these issues. That is why now he has been standing on one leg for three years till his demands are met.

Ran Singh Dhakare, a resident of the village, said that this guru has been living in a temple outside the village for many years and works for the development of the area, public welfare and religious activities.

Bachcha Baba got angry due to lack of development in the area and he adopted Hatha Yoga. He has been standing on one leg for three years.
