Student threatens teacher

VISAKHAPATNAM: A Class-IX student of Govt High School, Hukkumpeta, threatened physical education teacher on Saturday. The 14-year-old student, failed to attend the morning prayer assembly of the school on Saturday, following which physical education teacher Rajulamma counselled the student.The student, who was already upset with the teacher for reporting to his father earlier also, reportedly walked into the school with an axe and threatened the teacher.Others pacified the student and brought the situation under control.According to the Hukumpeta police, the student was afraid that due to the teacher’s remarks he might not be promoted to Class X.
