New Delhi: A long table to seat 20 people, covered with a beige table cloth, decorated with flower vases and silver cutlery has been laid out for the luncheon Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is hosting for Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and his entourage at his 7, Race Course Road residence in New Delhi on Sunday.
The preparations were tweeted by the Prime Minister's Office just after Zardari's plane landed at Palam airport for his six-hour long visit to India, that will see him also hold talks with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and later visit the Ajmer dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.
"Happening now at PM residence - Preparations for lunch with President Zardari of Pakistan," the PMO said on twitter with a picture.
Zardari is accompanied by his son Bilawal, Interior Minister Rehman Malik and a large delegation in two planeloads.
