BANGALORE: A tax assistant working with the Income Tax Department was found dead in Ulsoor lake on Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as L Suresh (45), a resident of N R Colony near Domlur. The police suspect that he might have ended his life following depression.According to the police, some passersby noticed a body floating in the lake in front of the Gurudwara at around 9.30 am and informed them. The police fished out the body from the lake and found the identity card of the deceased in his pocket and informed his family about the incident.

"Suresh's family members are saying that he was depressed after a series of deaths of his relatives in the past two years. He was mentally disturbed by the deaths and he was also undergoing treatment for depression in a private hospital," the police said giving details.

His family had recently shifted to N R Colony from Cottonpet. The body, sent for post mortem, was later handed over to his family.
