No one is certain of the nutritional value of the food we consume regularly, due to the widespread problem of adulteration. In the long run, it could prove to be extremely harmful to our bodies. So, to deal with such a prevalent situation, three individuals from Telangana have taken the initiative to open a hotel where the menu only consists of healthy options.
As per the reports by Local18, the hotel has been set up in Nakrekal town, in the district of Nalgonda, by three friends. A speciality of this food joint is that the dishes are prepared with ingredients like ragi, Korra, sorghum, arracks etc very healthy choices for the body.
In a conversation with Local18, the proprietor and one of the owners, Praveen Kumar, shared that consuming the foods lowers the risk of conditions like blood pressure and diabetes. According to him, they have started this place to provide healthy and nutritious food to the people. Apart from Praveen, his friends Anil and Lavan have also taken the initiative.
The hotel has been built opposite the police station in Nakrekal. Praveen revealed that they are offering tiffins at very affordable and low prices. The tiffins consist of food items like ragi, corn, sorghum, urad dal and other items. Praveen told Local18, “We have a large number of customers who come to us with retired officers as well as those suffering from diseases like BP and sugar.” The tiffins are available from 6 am to 11 am daily.
The customers who have visited the place had only good things to say about the food. According to them, the organizers work with a lot of patience. They have not eaten such good food in the neighbouring areas. Furthermore, the organizers can profit from this venture.
