Terror dossier: India uncovers 26/11 money trail
The 69-page dossier proves that the Mumbai attack was planned in Pakistan.

New Delhi: The 69-page terror dossier prepared by India extensively proves that the attack on Mumbai was planned in Pakistan and the attackers came from Pakistan. But it has not clarified the role of state actors in Pakistan or more specifically the ISI.

Sources in the Home Ministry say that India will only release tapes of conversations between ISI officers and Lashker-e-Toiba terrorists discussing the Mumbai attack plan if Pakistan remains in denial mode on the evidence already presented to them in the dossier.

The evidence is extensive – the boat they hijacked to reach Mumbai and the articles they used like shaving cream, diesel container, match box, detergent powder, wheat flour, toothpaste, Milk powder packet, which were all made in Pakistan.

The evidence has communication details between the Mumbai terrorists and their Lashkar handlers in Pakistan. It also has Urdu notes of terrorists in the log book left on Kuber, the boat in which they came to Mumbai.

According to sources, the calls were made through Internet using service of Callphonex, a US-based company. The payment to Callphonex was made via Western Union by a person called Javaid Iqbal, who gave a Pakiatni passport number KC092481.

The payment of $238.78 on November 25, 2008 was made to Western Union agent Nizar Alsharif.

India wants Pakistan to first dismantle its terror infrastructure because ISI, under its new chief Lt Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha has already started flushing out top and mid-level hard-liners associated with the agency's murky past, who mainly dealt with terrorist organisations.
