They are the real heroes, says actor Srikanth

Actor Srikanth interacted with the cancer patients and cancer survivors on the occasion of the Rose day here at the Apollo Specialty Cancer Hospital on Saturday. More than 30 patients, including several children received roses from the actor and interacted with him.

Speaking to the media, Srikanth said that it was heartening to see such strength on the part of the patients. “I want to tell them that they are the real heroes here. We are all with them in their battle with cancer.”

Celebrated every year on September 22, Rose day was named after Melinda Rose, a Canadian born 14-year-old, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
