Thimmappa faints on stage

SHIMOGA: Former minister Kagodu Thimmappa on Wednesday fainted and collapsed on the stage during a felicitation programme at Anandapuram in Sagar taluk, near here, on Wednesday. He was participating at a programme organised to mark his 80th birth anniversary at Anandapuram. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital and administered first aid. He was later discharged and admitted at another hospital in Sagar for further treatment. Sources said that Thimmappa is recuperating in hospital. He collapsed on stage as he was suffering from high blood pressure and fatigue. The relentless travel and his busy schedule must have tired him, informed  sources told Express.
