HYDERABAD: Three persons, including a pedestrian and two motorists were killed in separate road accidents on the city outskirts since Wednesday night.A motorist died in a freak mishap on the Gacchibowli flyover on Thursday. According to police, a readymade concrete mixer proceeding from Gacchibowli to Lingampally broke down on the flyover. The driver and cleaner of the vehicle got down and were trying to repair the vehicle when it slid down the flyover. The heavy vehicle turned turtle after coming down for a few feet and rolled over an auto trolly coming from behind. The auto trolley hit a motorist passing by, killing him instantly. The motorist, identified as N Raju (25) is an employee of a private courier company. The driver and cleaner of the concrete mixer fled from the spot while the auto trolley driver suffered injuries.
In another incident, a motorist and a pedestrian were killed in road accident near Dongala Maisamma crossroads in Shamirpet on Wednesday night. Shamirpet police said a tractor driver from Medak, K Shankar (25) was walking on the road when he was hit by a motorist V Venkatesh (50) on Wednesday night.Police said Shankar's tractor laden with grass overturned near the crossroads two days back. Last night, Shankar came to see the tractor and grass and while walking towards the tractor, he was hit by the motorist. Shankar died instantly.
