New Delhi: Actress Tisca Chopra will be hosting the opening ceremony of the 42nd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The 11-day event, the largest film festival in India, will begin on Wednesday and the 38-year-old 'Taare Zameen Par' star will co-host the event with actor Rahul Khanna.
"Off to Goa for IFFI- Intl Film Fest Of India, hosting the opening ceremony," Tisca tweeted.
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will inaugurate the festival while southern star Suriya and Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh will attend the closing ceremony.
More than 100 movies from 65 countries will be screened during the festival.
Other celebrities expected at the event are Bertrand Tavernier, Laurance Kardish, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Dan Wolman, Raima Sen, Dino Morea and Prem Chopra.
