TN: Man arrested for raping eight-year-old girl

SALEM (TN): A 49-year-old man was arrested today on charges of raping an eight-year-old girl here, police said.The incident occurred when the girl went to the accused Nagarajan's house to buy milk yesterday. After taking the girl inside the house he raped her, police said.The girl had later told her mother that she was having severe stomach pain. It was then that the mother came to know about the incident and lodged a complaint against Nagarajan, police said.He was arrested today and a case under IPC 376 (rape) was charged against him, police said.
