Traffic curbs in Kochi

KOCHI: Owing to Metro Rail-related construction work, the North ROB will remain closed for traffic from 11 p.m. on Wednesday to 4 p.m. on Thursday, informed Assistant Commissioner, Traffic East, Kochi City.The heavy vehicles coming from Edappally to Ernakulam will have to take a diversion towards left at Kaloor Junction and pass through the Kathrikadavu bridge and reach Ernakulam via South Overbridge.The light vehicles coming from Edappally will be diverted towards left from Kaloor Junction via Pullepady bridge to enter MG Road.The heavy vehicles from Ernakulam and M G Road to Edappally area will be diverted towards left at Madava Pharmacy Junction via High Court Junction to Edappally.The light vehicles from Ernakulam and MG Road can take a diversion towards left from Kacheripady Junction via Pachalam, Pottakuzhi or Madhava Pharmacy junction and take a diversion towards right to enter Pulleppady Bridge to reach Edappally.KSRTC buses plying to Ernakulam from Edappally will be diverted from Kaloor Junction via Katrikadavu Bridge and South Overbridge to reach the bus station. The buses from the Ernakulam bus station will also have to ply through the same route.
