Two killed in bike-van collision

HYDERABAD: Two persons died in a road accident late on Saturday night, when a DCM van knocked down the two-wheeler which the victims were riding. The accident took place at Pedagolkonda near Shamshabad. According to police, Bhaskar and Khaja, both daily wage labourers died on the spot when a DCM van coming from rear side hit the bike in which the deceased were riding. As van hit the the two-wheeler, the bike rammed the divider on the road and the duo died on the spot, due to major injuries to their heads. Police said they registered a case after a passer-by K Devender Goud informed about the accident. Shamshabad police have registered a case under section 304A (causing death by negligence) and investigation is on.
