Police have registered cases for rape and kidnapping under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act).
Kerala: Eight persons have been arrested in connection with the gang rape of two school students in Peedanam distrct of Kerala. Both victims were allegedly lured by the prime accused and gang raped on two separate days earlier in December.
Police have registered cases for rape and kidnapping under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act).
According to the police, both girls were taken to a vacant house by one of their acquaintances and raped. Later his friends also joined them. Their ordeal continued for two days.
