New Delhi: Investigations into the serial blasts in Uttar Pradesh are on in full swing. Police are questioning at least three people in Delhi and Faizabad in connection with the blasts.
A police team has now been sent to Maharashtra from where the e-mail threatening cricketers was sent.
Meanwhile, the police of Faizabad have released the sketch of another suspect after questioning a cycle shop owner. Police say the cycle used in the blast was purchased from his shop, on the main street, on November 21.
Faizabad DIG D C Vashishta said, "The guy in spectacles brought the cycle on November 21. The second picture is of the man who took the cycle from the station yesterday."
A four-member forensic team also is examining vital clues lifted from the blast site.
The state government has submitted a report to the Centre on the three blasts.
In Delhi, the manager and owner of a cyber cafe at Laxmi Nagar are being questioned. The hard disk of the computer from which an e-mail warning of the attack was sent has been seized.
Police sources say the live bomb recovered from Lucknow might have traces of RDX.
Experts also point out that the use of ammonium nitrate and timer devices in the blasts indicates the hand of an expert.
Investigators are looking into links between the Jaish-e-Mohammad and local sleeper cells.
