Vigilance raid on engineer

BHUBANESWAR: The State Vigilance on Friday unearthed assets close to Rs 93 lakh from the superintending engineer of CESU Niranjan Swain.After receiving complaints of disproportionate assets, the Vigilance cracked down on his office and residential premises at three different places. The movable assets of Swain was evaluated at Rs 12 lakh while the value of his real estate acquisitions stood at Rs 80.16 lakh. Search is still continuing.
