KOCHI: In a major breakthrough, the National Investigating Agency (NIA) has arrested SIMI activist Habib Falahi of Uttar Pradesh, who is the 32nd accused in the Wagamon SIMI camp case. He will be produced before the Ernakulam NIA Special Court on Wednesday.Falahi is also an accused in the Ahmedabad 2008 serial blasts. He is a resident of Sarai Mir in Azamgarh. He was brought to Kochi for Test Identification Parade at the Ernakulam sub-jail.“Habib Falahi and others were involved in physical training, arms training, firing practices, manufacture of bombs/petrol bombs, motor bike operation and rope climbing practices in the camp. They have also conducted ‘jihadi’ classes in the camp. Falahi was also involved in the conspiracy,” NIA sources said.The secret training camp was conducted with an intention to train the participants to advocate, incite and abet unlawful, terrorist activities, disrupt communal harmony and causing threat to the sovereignty and integrity of the country, thereby waging war against Government of India, the charge sheet said.
