New Delhi: Warner Bros has posted the first trailer of the concluding film of the Dark Kinght series on the Internet.
Directed by Christopher Nolan, the trailer of the third and final instalment of Nolan's adventure about the DC Comics vigilante hero was also screened with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 in US theatres.
The movie will not see the resurrection of the Joker, the cackling villain played by Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight. Ledger won the supporting-actor Academy Award for the role, a year after he died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. The new villain is Bane played by Tom Hardy.
The minute-and-a-half trailer leaves several characters unseen. Christian Bale is the Batman and Anne Hathaway plays the role of Catwoman.
