Jetsun has had an Indian education. She was enrolled at St Joseph's Convent in Kalimpong, West Bengal.
Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and his wife Queen Jetsun Pema have arrived in India for a five-day official visit. The King has been invited by the President and will be the first foreign Head of State to stay at the renovated Dwarka suite in the Rashtrapati Bhawan after about two decades. King Jigme Khesar married Jetsun Pema on October 13, 2011. Jetsun has had an Indian education. She was enrolled at St Joseph's Convent in Kalimpong, West Bengal, from 1999-2000 and at Lawrence School, Sanawar, in Himachal Pradesh. The pretty, young Queen of Bhutan has won over hearts in India for her poise and charm.
