New Delhi: Not too long ago we reported how elated and excited Malayalam superstar Mohanlal was the reaction to the film 'Drishyam'. The actor, who was back in action with the movie 'Drishyam', was directed by Jeethu Joseph.
Referred to as the big release of the year, 'Drishyam' has collected a huge amount in UK. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had recently tweeted, "Malayalam film #Drishyam - UK [total till Sunday]: £ 66,032 [₹ 66.84 lacs]."
'Drishyam' is all about the struggles faced by a common man. An elated Mohanlal posted on his official Facebook page "Happy to know people have accepted 'Drishyam' a family entertainer and the hardships of the team got accepted... kudos to Jeethu Joseph and to the entire team behind 'Drishyam'."
Mohanlal plays an uneducated farmer in the movie, who lives happily with his wife and two daughters. Jeethu Joseph has tried to portray the life of a common man and the struggles he goes through in his life. (With inputs from IANS)
