Woman principal caught taking bribe

HYDERABAD: The principal of a government junior college for girls in Gooty of Anantapur district was  caught by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Tuesday while taking bribe from the college librarian.The principal, K Krishna Kumari, was caught  red-handed when she took ` 30,000 as bribe from V Kiranmayi, the librarian of the college, for forwarding the medical bill of  `5.72 lakh pertaining to the husband of the latter to the regional joint director, Kadapa, for approval, an official release said. The relevant file was seized from Krishna Kumari. She would be arrested and produced before a special court for ACB cases in Hyderabad.
