Woman thrashed for killing husband

WARANGAL: Villagers of Kalvala in Kesamudram mandal thrashed Shaheena (35) on Tuesday for allegedly killing her husband by poisoning him. Shaheena’s husband, Md Yakub, died while receiving treatment in Khammam hospital on Monday night. After postmortem, the body was shifted to the village in the small hours of Tuesday.The villagers grilled Shaheena about how could Yakub, take ill suddenly. Pulling her onto the road, the village women beat her black and blue. On information, police from Kesamudram reached the village and shifted Shaheena to the police station even when the villagers obstructed them for sometime.
