In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Padma Ram of INC won in this seat defeating Adu Ram Meghwal of BJP by a margin of 4,262 which was 2.12% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 41.57% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Tarun Rai Kaga of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Padmaram of INC by a margin of 23,526 votes which was 13.45% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.7% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Padmaram of INC won this seat beating Tarunrai Kaga of BJP by a margin of 23,903 votes which was 18.68% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.24% in the seat.
