Jungkook, one of the most popular members of the South Korean boyband BTS, shocked his fans after he deactivated his Instagram account in February. According to reports, the singer made the decision to connect with his admirers on WeVerse. Now, in less than two months, the K-pop idol has once again made a surprise revelation of returning to Instagram. This time, however, the singer’s social media account is dedicated to his pet dog Bam. On April 14, Jungkook shared a cryptic post on WeVerse, indicating his furry friend’s debut on Instagram.
“I can’t brag about anything right now so I’m going to brag about my baby. Have a fun ‘night’ from now on Bam,” wrote Jungkook on WeVerse, confusing his fans. The first post on Bam’s Instagram account was dropped on April 14. Judging by the username, which reads, “Bam’s Dad”, it can be presumed that Jungkook might be handling his dog’s account. As soon as the social media handle was made public, it garnered over 3.1 million followers.

The first picture featured Bam in high spirits, leaping on a field and wagging its tail. So far, the handle has seven posts in total. From the furry animal’s close-up shots to him playing with a person, presumably his owner, the Instagram account seems to document Bam’s adorable daily activities.

The BTS Army was quick to flood Bam’s account with heartwarming reactions. Heaping praise on the dog, one user said, “Such a magnificent young man. Just like his dad (Jungkook). We love you Bam.”
“Welcome back Jungkook you surprise me,” wrote another. “Still can’t believe this really happened,” noted a third individual.
Previously, on February 28, Jungkook revealed that he was quitting. “I’ve left/quit Instagram. It’s not hacked. Well, I just don’t use it so what else could I have done!!? I’d rather do WeVerse lives from time to time,” read the translated note on the platform.
