The trailer shows the last sample of the Tyrant Program, a superhuman gene drug scheduled for destruction, has gone missing.

Disney Plus Korea has released a new main poster and trailer for their upcoming Korean drama titled The Tyrant. It is going to be a four-part chase action series. The plot of the film deals with the aftermath of what happens after the final sample from a program called the Tyrant Program gets misplaced accidentally during a delivery. This prompts a number of people with various motives to try to find and keep the sample to themselves. Each of them competes with one another to secure it. Popular actor Cha Seung-won plays a character named Im Sang in the series. He is a former agent who is on a mission to eliminate all those related to the Tyrant Program. Actor Kim Seon-ho plays Director Choi who is an alleged mastermind behind the program and is related to a government agency.

The latest poster for The Tyrant has four characters with intense, sharp looks, standing against a shattered mirror in the background. It has Im Sang, with a fierce expression, Director Choi, Paul, played by Kim Kang-woo and Ja Kyung, portrayed by Jo Yoon Soo, who plays a talented technician. The tagline reads, “Eliminate, pursue, seize," hinting at the dramatic fights among those looking for the samples of the Tyrant Program.

Disney Plus Korea has also shared a trailer of the upcoming drama on their Instagram and YouTube accounts.

The trailer opens with a piece of news that the last sample of the Tyrant Program, a superhuman gene-drug that is supposed to be destroyed, has been missing. Characters with different motives start looking for the sample. “The Tyrant Program is ours. Forget it," mentions Director Choi who is determined to protect the sample.

Meanwhile, Im Sang adds to the intensity of the trailer with his action scenes and stunts while he eliminates obstacles. In contrast to his character, is Paul who displays an evil smile, adding more tension to the chase. Ja Kyung can be spotted in an intense car chase sequence in the trailer.

According to IMDB, the four-episode drama series will be released on Disney+ next month, tentatively on August 14.
