1. Cinnamon: Experts claim that cinnamon is utilised to improve food’s flavour. It can also help to speed up metabolism. Cinnamon has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities that help manage weight and decrease hunger when consumed. In addition, it also helps in digestion.

2. Cumin: One of the main spices that are present in every kitchen is cumin. Usually, we use it to temper vegetables and pulses. Cumin is also very beneficial for health. Nutrients present in cumin help increase the metabolic rate of the body. Its consumption provides energy and also helps with weight loss. One can drink cumin water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

3. Turmeric: It has many medicinal, as well as anti-bacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which help in protecting the body from many diseases. The curcumin compound present in turmeric helps in increasing metabolism, due to which calories are burned faster.

4. Ginger: Ginger is easily available in every home and is very beneficial for health. Ginger contains not just antioxidants but also capsaicin and gingerol. These work to boost metabolic rates.
