The 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show stormed Shanghai on Monday, and for once, the beauty look channelled the daring nature of the outfits.

The lingerie giant had its Angels shrug off their signature clean-cut beauty look for something a little edgier this year, with makeup artist Tom Pecheux opting for a sexier approach than usual.

To this end, there was shimmery eyeshadow in nude bronze and light silver shades, as well as smoky eyeliner in shades of taupe and grey, while brows were bold but ever-so-slightly dishevelled. Each model was given a custom-blend lip color to match their individual skin tone, created from a combination of Victoria's Secret Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stains in various shades, PopSugar reports. All the models' lips were primed beforehand with Victoria's Secret Velvet Matte Cream Lip Stain in Adored.

Of course, the bombshell beauty look still included fresh-faced, dewy-looking complexions and lashings of highlighter, which provided shimmer at the inner corners of the eyes and on those razor-sharp cheekbones. The finishing touch? A dab of the brand's special edition fragrance ‘Victoria's Secret Bombshell Shanghai', which sees the brand's classic fruity, floral 'Bombshell' scent given a packaging makeover inspired by the runway show.

The 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will air on CBS on November 28.
